During difficult times, it can be helpful to talk to someone who is not in your own personal circle of family and friends. Counselling provides a safe place for you to talk about issues or feelings affecting your daily life. Talking about yourself and your life can help you see things more clearly by helping you explore how you think and feel.

Working primarily with the person-centred approach you will be given the support, space and time to fully explore issues that are affecting your mental and physical well-being.

Everyone is Different

so sessions are tailored to client’s individual needs.

Clients Can Choose

how many sessions they would like and what they wish to achieve during their counselling time.

Here are some examples of issues that you could discuss with your counsellor:

Bereavement and loss
Anxiety/stress
Low mood and/or depression
Relationships
Anger
Bullying
Self-esteem and confidence
Work related issues

The above list is not exhaustive of the issues which can be explored, if you are unsure about the issue you wish to bring to counselling please feel free to raise this at the point of enquiry.
